CHRISTMAS NEWSLETTER TO CUSTOMERS

When I was a newspaper carrier (in 2012), I developed this newsletter as a hand-out to my customers. I wrapped the letter around the Sunday paper at the beginning of December 2012. My goal, of course, was to increase my tips.

Of course, I never mentioned that they need to give me tips. I merely mentioned that Id been given them during the year.

The response? Tips and gift cards (and chocolates): $450 total.

(Of course, in the letter itself, I included my phone number and email. For the sample, I merely changed it to asterisks since my phone number and email have changed since the newsletter went out.)
